Microneedling is the thing you can do for your skin
Microneedling helps with acne scarring, dull skin, and PRODUCES COLLAGEN. The holy grail of FFA right here. Add this to any treatment and your skin will thank you.
Microneedling is used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, pore size, brown spots, stretch marks, and pigment issues. It’s also called skin needling, collagen induction therapy
Everything you need to know about Microneedling
Do you have skin? Then you need this. It’s like using the best skincare line out there. It can prevent aging of skin as well as restore what you once had.
Microneedling is a method that we use to treat different skin conditions. The technique involves using multiple tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin and cause physical trauma. This trauma prompts the derma, a deeper layer of skin, to rebuild.
Microneedling may help address many skin-related complaints, including: wrinkles, scarring, acne, alopecia, skin pigmentation issues, stretch marks, rosacea, and skin rejuvenation.
How long does it take to see microneedling results?
On average, it takes about 2 – 3 weeks after microneedling for patients to see visible improvements in their skin. After 4 – 6 weeks, a marked improvement should be able to be seen.
How often should you get microneedling done?
Microneedling can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks until you achieve the desired results. For collagen induction we recommend to start with 3 treatments, but with a minimum separation time of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments. For scar reduction an average of 3 to 6 treatments are recommended.
Does Microneedling hurt?
The procedure isn’t overly painful. There are ways to minimize discomfort like the numbing cream we use prior to treatment! The most common side effect of microneedling is skin redness.
Is microneedling permanent?
The effects of microneedling are not permanent, so we recommend a maintenance treatment plan which could include quarterly procedures to keep skin looking it’s best.
Is microneedling better than Botox?
Both microneedling and Botox injections are safe and effective for patients with all skin types. Depending on patient needs, you may even recommend both, using microneedling to improve the surface and deeper condition of the skin, with Botox injections to help improve results longer term.
